
With help of the e-mail template editor you can create and edit CheckSystem's status alerts. CheckSystem mail templates can be identified by the extension .cym.
In the first field you specify the mail-from-address. The address has to the format yourname@yourserver.com.
The second field specifies the mail-to-addresses. If you enter more than one address, they have to seperated by a semicolon (";"). The addresses have to the format yourname@yourserver.com.
In the third field you can enter the alert subject line. The text field under the subject contains the alert body.
In subject and body you can use some keywords. The following keywords are available:
%hostname%: hostname of the machine, where CheckSystem
is running
%partition_long%: letter and name of the checked partition
%partition_short%: letter of the checked partition
%freespace_kb%: free space of the checked partition in kilobyte
%freespace_mb%: free space of the checked partition in megabyte
%freespace_gb%: free space of the checked partition in gigabyte
%totalspace_kb%: total space of the checked partition in kilobyte
%totalspace_mb%: total space of the checked partition in megabyte
%totalspace_gb%: total space of the checked partition in gigabyte
%dirname%: name of the checked directory
%dirsize_kb%: size of the checked directory
in kilobyte
%dirsize_mb%: size of the checked directory
in megabyte
%dirsize_gb%: size of the checked directory

%limit%: your defined limit for the checked
directory or partition
%app_name%: filename and path of the checked

For the directory template an additional keyword is available. The keyword %directory% returns the last part of a checked directory. The keyword can only be used in recipients edit field. It was added, so that you can send an e-mail to the user coded by directory name. An example:

If the directory breaks your defined limit, the Mail Alert will be sent to user1@myserver.com.
