Answer: You must start CheckSystem with the
parameter /min. Then the program will be placed in
the system tray (next to the windows clock).
Question: Can I modify the testmail text?
Answer: No. The testmail text can't be modified at this time.
Question: How can I reach on Windows 9x (not NT!) that CheckSystem
is started when Windows starts?
Answer: Execute the program cssvrsub.exe
(which is located in the CheckSystem program
directory) with the parameter -install. The
uninstallation can be reached with the parameter -uninstall.
Question: How can I reach on Windows NT/2000 (not 9x!)
that CheckSystem starts on Windows system
start without a user logged on?
Answer: During the installation, CheckSystem
was configured as a system service. Please open the
service control manager and change the startup type from Manual
to Automatic.
Question: What are the restrictions of the shareware
version?
Answer: The shareware version is a 14 days trial. After the test period
the program will be stop working. The CheckSystem
system service doesn't work correct during the evaluation
period.
Question: I start the CheckSystem
program or service but nothing happens. What's wrong?
Answer: Probably, the evaluation period has expired. You can check this
by opening the register screen.
Question: Can I customize the html file of the CheckSystem
Report?
Answer: No. The CheckSystem
Report file can't be customized at this time.
Question: If I start CheckSystem
I get an error message. I use Windows 95. What's wrong?
Answer: We have noticed some problems with old Windows 95
versions. The problem is some system files are outdated. Please update these
files by installing the latest Internet Explorer version.
Question: I want that CheckSystem
starts checking after its started. How can I reach it?
Answer: Start CheckSystem with the
command line parameter /checknow.
Question: The CheckSystem
registration dialog uses 100 % CPU usage on my Windows XP / 2003 Server. What
can I do?
Answer: Move the registration dialog few pixel left. The CPU usage should
be normalized.
